Silk fabric dyeing process by basic dye:
Recipe:
Dyestuff → 2%
Acetic acid → 2%
Salt → 10%
Water → 30 times
Temperature → 800C
Time → 30 minutes
Dyeing process:
First, a paste is made by adding acetic acid with dyestuff. Then a dye solution is made by mixing a little water from 30 times water to the paste. The remaining water is brought to the dye bath and the product is kept in the dye bath. The dye solution is then slowly added to the bath. Then the temperature is raised to 800C and salt is added. Acrylic fabric dyeing process by basic dye:
Recipe:
Dye → 2%
Glacial acetic acid → 1.5% (on the weight of the material)
Anhydride, sodium acetate → 3%
Sodium sulfate → 5%
Leveling agent Water → 2 gm. / liter
Temperature → 55°C-100°C
Water →20-30 times
Dyeing Process:
Silk and acrylic fabric dyeing process by the basic dye. Acrylic material is first scoured by dilute solution of non-ionic detergent. The material is then immersed in the dye solution prepared according to the recipe at a temperature of 55°C. After a few minutes, 3% of the weight of the previous dye stuff is filtered by E-filter and added to the bath. Then the temperature is raised to 75°C. 15 min dyeing is done at 85°C and the next 15 min is dyeing at 100°C.
In this way, after dyeing for a while, the product is washed and dried.
