However, in our country yarn is not produced from 100 / s count to 120 / s count. To make yarn of 10 / s count, it is necessary to use very low-quality cotton. 100% high-quality cotton is used to make yarn of 100 / s count or above.
The yarn count is calculated through two processes.
1) Indirect process
2) Direct process
1) Indirect process: The length of a single mass of yarn is called yarn count. The higher the yarn count, the thinner the yarn will be. The following formula is used to calculate the yarn count indirectly,

2) Direct process: The mass of a single length of yarn is called yarn count. The lower the yarn count, the thicker the yarn will be. The following formula is used to calculate the yarn in a direct process,
