The quality control activities in a garment factory can usually be divided into four parts

1. Quality check of goods supplied in the store such as cloth, trims, accessories, and other goods.

2. Quality control in pattern design and cutting department.

3. Quality control in the sewing department.

  1.  If any defect is identified, action is taken against it.
  2. The table verifies whether the quality specification of 100% of the products manufactured on the production line is met.
  3. The quality of the product passed in the table is verified statistically i.e. based on random sampling so that the quality can be further confirmed.
  4. Repairable products are segregated and quality is verified to take necessary action.
  5. Among the repaired products, the ones that have the right quality are separated and the discarded ones are kept in a separate basket.
  6. In addition to the verification on the table, the discarded products in the product are placed in separate specific baskets under the Quality Manager.
  7. The quality of all products is checked or verified before ironing and folding in the finishing section.
  8. The quality of ironing and folding is checked so that the demand of the buyer is met.
