Marker efficiency in the garment industry, Marker skills are an important part of the garment industry. As Marker’s skills increase, so does the garment industry. The factors that are directly or indirectly involved in enhancing marker skills are described below.
(A) Marker efficiency in the garment industry-Marker maker:
 Marker skill mainly depends on the work skill, effort, sincerity, experience, and technical knowledge of the maker. The more times a marker is made to make a marker, the more marker paper is used, and the more likely it is that the marker will become proficient. Previous experience of marker maker is required in the case. The income improvement of the garment industry depends on making the markers properly.
(B) Marker efficiency in the garment industry-Sizes of the garments:
The more sizes of garments are included in the making of a marker, the greater the efficiency of the marker. However, exceptions are observed when the number of sizes is excessive. The dress must have a combination of large size patterns and small size patterns. For example, the medium pattern and the small pattern are perfectly placed with the large pattern of the dress.
(C) Length of the marker:
The length of the marker is related to various factors. However, the longer the marker, the higher the efficiency of the marker and the higher the production of the cutting room. However, if the length of the marker is too long, there may be exceptions. If the length of the marker is greater, the cutting output of the cutting room also increases. Again, by putting more patterns together, cutting the cloth reduces the wastage of cloth.
(D) Pattern engineering:
The skill of the marker can be increased by changing the pattern design of some parts of the garment or by splitting the pattern or cutting any part of the pattern.
(E) Nature of the fabrics:
There are many fabrics, both of which look the same, it is called Symmetrical fabric. In the case of such fabrics, the skill of the marker is found more when making the marker. But for fabrics that are not symmetrical, that is, asymmetric fabrics, the efficiency of the marker is less likely. Especially in the case of stripe or check matching, there is a tendency for the skill of the marker to be less.
(F) Method of marker making:
There are two main methods of making markers, the Manual method and with the help of a computer. The skill of making markers with the help of a computer is much more than the skill of making markers in physical method and it also takes less time. Again, making markers by more experienced marker makers gives more marker skills than making markers by computer.
(G) Width of the marker:
The width of the marker usually depends on the width of the cloth. The results of the study showed that the wider the marker, the easier it is for the marker maker to plan the marker so that the marker is more efficient. That argument may not be true of tube-shaped knitted fabrics. The larger the width of the marker, the less wasted the fabric.
(H) Nature of garments:
Among all the garments, the number of large patterns is more and the number of six patterns is less, for example, men and women have fewer marker skills in the case of slacks, overcoats, etc. This is because, after the installation of large patterns, the waste of cloth is more a result of not having the same pattern as the placement in the spaces between them. But the skill of the marker is found in making the markers of all the garments which have more number of six patterns.
