Different types of machines are used in ginning. At present, the cotton processing industry is developing day by day, as well as the ginning machinery is being modernized. Modern versions of ginning machines have been used commercially to increase production and productivity. Among them, the following three types of ginning machines have been used to separate fibers and seeds from the seedbed.
1. Knife Roller Gin
2. Mccarthy Gin
3. Sawing ‘Jin
In the general sense, if 100 kg of seed is processed in a ginning machine, 30 to 40 kg of cotton and 55 to 65 kg of seeds and the remaining about 5 kg of other substances are obtained.

1. Different types of machines are used in ginning.-Knife Reller Gin:
This type of ginning machine is currently widely used. First, the seeded cotton is placed on the table, which slowly enters the inside of the main machine. the hopper comes in contact with the compressing roller which breaks the large bunches of cotton. Then the seed comes in contact with the knife Roller. There are two leather reels on either side of the knife disc. The knife is fixed at an angle to the discs of the roller so that the seeded cotton moves back and forth until it comes in contact with the leather roller. This leather reel is uneven and has a saw-like notch on it which pushes the cotton down with the help of a spring and a doctor’s knife so that the seeds do not go with the cotton and fall down through the grid. Seeded cotton is spread in all directions and the cotton is separated and delivered with the help of a stripping board.
2. Mecarthy Gin:
The Mccarthy gene is different from the Knife Rellar gene. First, the seeded cotton is placed on the feed table which slowly enters the inside of the main machine the hopper comes in contact with the leather reels attached to the skin. The vibrating bar or feeder bar vibrates with the help of the crank and drops the seed on an uneven leather roller which presses the spring doctor’s knife against the surface of the leather roller so that some of the cotton separate and the remaining seeds are deposited next to the cotton knife. Beater Blade with a rod as a result of the rotation of the crank
The seeds continue to hit the cotton. Repeated blows with the blade separate the remaining seeds from the cotton and the seeds are deposited in the bottom of the grid bar. Adjusting nuts are used to adjust the distance between the blade, bar, and leather roller. Seed fibers are separated and delivered with the help of stripping beards.

3. Sawing gin:
Seeded cotton is first placed on a lathe with the help of which the cotton moves forward and comes in contact with the spike roller which completely separates the large and hard bunch of cotton and sends it to the hopper. The seeded cotton from the hopper comes in contact with the toothed roller like a spinning saw. The number of saws in this roller depends on the width of the machine. Since the saw is rotating the reel, the fibers are separated from the seed.
It sticks to the skin, but the brush fibers of the brush roller are separated from the surface of the saw by the air flowing from the cage. Which is taken by labor or by lattice feeder to bail. When the cotton is stripped and carried by the wind, the relatively heavy and separate seeds fall under the hopper.
