Stone Wash Process

Stonewash Denim jeans washing process:

Stonewash is a very common procedure in denim. In the case of this washed denim, bluish creates an effect that is very famous in the fashion world. This wash creates an old look in denim. The pumice stone was invented in the late seventies to speed up the process of denim garments generation. Stone is washed with a pumice stone.

Acid wash:

The main goal of this wash is to produce an uneven look on clothing. Acid wash is done by potash and stone. First, the stone should be dipped in the potash solution then washed with a little dry stone and a washing machine. Finally, we get to see an uneven look at the garments.

Rinse wash:

Rinse wash is a basic washing process for denim garments. It is also known as Dark Wash. This wash is done to make the denim comfortable. In this method, denim is deciduous along the width in an open width washing machine and this process does not wash away the dye solution. A major disadvantage of this process is the effect of defective friction.

Enzyme wash:

The washing method in which the enzyme is used is called enzyme wash. These enzymes can be neutral or acid depending on the needs of the shade. These enzyme wash garments are used to produce a variety of friction effects. As a result, the clothes are very beautiful to look at. The main goal of Enzyme Wash is to change the look of any denim garment.

Bleach wash:

In bleach wash, a strong oxidative washing agent is added and pumice stone may or may not be attached to it. The purpose of washing in this process is to remove the dark blue shade from garments. And this is accomplished by destroying indigo dyes with oxidative chemicals. However, a major problem with this process is that it damages the fiber and releases large amounts of contaminated water.
