Definition of color harmony:

There are no exact rules for determining color harmony. Because it varies from person to person. A color scheme that is harmonious to one may be less harmonious to another. Classification of color harmony:
Generally, there are two types of color harmony.
1. Color harmony of analogy.
2. Color harmony of contrast.

1. Color harmony of analogy:
Analogy means similar. Tones or hues of the same or different colors whose depth (Depth of shade) is almost the same or who do not have much difference between them, the color harmony created as a result of the arrangement of all those colors is called Color harmony of analogy.
It is of two type’s i.e.
(A) Color harmony of the analogy of tone.
(B) Color harmony of the analogy of hue.
(A) Color harmony of the analogy of tone:
A mixture of different tones of the same color which do not differ much from each other is called Color harmony of the analogy of tone. For example, different tints of blue are mixed with each other to create this kind of harmony.
(B) Color harmony of the analogy of hue:
Harmony consisting of different hues of two colors whose depth of tone is equal or nearly equal is called Color harmony of the analogy of hue. For example, yellowish green and bluish green are different colors but the green color is common among them. If the tone of these two colors i.e. yellowish green and bluish green are the same, then the effect of the color created by their mixture is called color harmony of the analogy of hue.
2. Color harmony of contrast:
Color harmony definition and its classification. The color effect created by mixing the same color or different colors together with different tones is called color harmony of contrast.
It is also divided into two parts i.e.
(A) Color harmony of contrast of tone.
(b) Color harmony of contrast of hue.
(A) Color harmony of contrast of tone:
The effect produced by mixing different tones of the same color is called color harmony of contrast of tone. For example, a mixture of dark blue and light blue creates such an effect.

It is produced by mixing two different colors. For example, the mixture of red and blue creates such an effect.
