The process of ironing clothes is called calendering. Calendaring is considered more essential than any other process of finishing. In this process, the yarns of the cloth are flattened and the gaps between them are closed. By bringing softness and luster to the fabric, it makes the fabric very pleasing. Calendaring is usually done on all types of clothes. This process is especially important for cotton, linen, rayon, and silk fabrics.
Calendering is a vertical arrangement of heavy rollers or bells, some of which are installed with a rigid frame. Before calendering the cloth, it has to be fed with a certain pull to bring it in a certain fleet and if there is any fold or wrinkle condition between them, it needs to be removed. The pressure, heat, etc. of the calender machine depends on the texture of the fabric and its fiber. However, the clothes that will be calendered must be moist. Different types of rollers have different layouts and different finishing effects on different pressures and heat.
