Advanced fiber information system AFIS-Working Process of AFIS:

The AFIS consists of the following main parts

1. Feeding device

2. Aero-Mechanical Individualizer

3. Optics Scanner

4. Rotor

5. Monitor

Samples (5 gm.) are fed to a mechanical individualizer through a feeding device. They individually separate the mechanical individualizer fibers so that each fiber can be verified. These individual fibers are scanned by a scanner, tested according to the module, stored in a rotor, and displayed on a monitor. With the help of this machine, about 12 to 15 tests can be completed in one hour.

Machine operating procedure:

All parts of the machine, including the printer, need to be switched on and electrified. Then the test is done by selecting the key of the fiber and the type of test. The test is carried out by preparing the sample accordingly and feeding it into the machine.
